Outside the Office
Dr. Gibson lives in Sioux Falls with his family. His wife, Melissa, is a general dentist in Sioux Falls. Melissa is a die-hard Nebraska fan, and they compromise with cheering for Nebraska Husker football and Iowa Hawkeye basketball. They have two daughters, Evelyn and Mae, that attend Sioux Falls Christian. They are very busy with their daughters’ school and activities. They are active in church and the community. Dr. Gibson grew up on his family farm in Spencer, Iowa. Rather than corn and soybeans, he is busy in the summer with dahlias, gladiolus, and other gardening with his daughters. They love spending time with family back in Okoboji, Iowa. They enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, campfires, and lots of family card games.
